The 1998 North American Migration Count challenged the counters with a nearly complete lack of warblers. While the day was clear and the average temperature was higher than past years, many species were delayed. In fact, warblers never really showed. The data chart compares data from 1995 to 1999 where greater than 50 hours were logged.
