NAMC 1999

Home Up

Thirteen hardy counters braved the elements for the 1999 North American Migration Count. This marked the first year a portion of the count included Wuskowhan Players Club, near Port Sheldon. Highlights for the count were an unusually large number of shorebirds and the tenacity of the counters in the light (but cold) rain for most of the morning. As the top ten count table shows, three of the top ten birds were shorebirds. Complete count data is shown on the NAMC Count Data Page
