
far flowing water is the newsletter of the Owashtanong Islands Audubon Society. The native
Americans called the Grand River "Owashtanong", meaning "far flowing water". We have chosen to call our
newsletter far flowing water to signify our efforts to reach an audience far beyond our
home in Grand Haven, Michigan, with environmental information and education. Listed below
