 Audubon Society

The Owashtanong Islands Audubon Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving the Greater Grand Haven, Michigan area with support for local environmental education as well as stewardship of two island wildlife sanctuaries in the Grand River.

We offer educational and informative lectures and fellowship at our meetings held on the third Tuesday of the month, September through May, at:

 to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and learn what is going on in our community to help birds! Find us anytime between 9-12 to learn more about Tree Swallows and Purple Martins, and how everyone can help protect birds through Citizen Science.

WMBD is a global campaign that raises awareness about migratory birds’ incredible journeys!
  This year's program schedule includes topics for all ages and interests. We welcome all visitors to our presentations.
